Dear Valued Customer,
As we continue to monitor and respond to the COVID-19 crisis, we would like to take this opportunity to let you know that we have made several changes in the way we operate so that we can keep our staff and customers as well as the community at large a little safer.
We’ve reviewed protocols suggested by Health Canada, NB Public Health as well as by the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association. With these protocols in mind, we’ve developed our own Operational Plan that addresses the specific needs of our dealership.
Those protocols include but are not limited to the following:
Every employee has a copy of the Operational Plan and they’ve all been advised about travel restrictions. They are asked daily by their department manager if their health status has changed. Every employee has been given a mask and has access to an additional supply of disposable masks if needed.
We’ve removed most of the chairs in our customer lounge to allow the proper 2 m distance in-between. To create additional seating, we’ve removed all vehicles from our showroom.
We are unable to maintain our shuttle service for the time being.
We’ve added sneeze guards to all sales desks as well as to the parts and service counters.
Hand sanitizing stations are located at all doors and in the customer lounge.
At this time, our sales personnel are not going on test drives with customers. Disposable gloves are provided to all customers for their self test drive.
Sales representatives have been trained to sanitize vehicles before they go on or returned to our lot. Every day, the Sales Team discusses what they are doing in terms of keeping vehicles clean and safe.
We review and make adjustments to our Operational Plan regularly as the situation around COVID-19 is very fluid.
On behalf of the entire staff here at Fredericton Mazda, we hope that you are staying safe and healthy.
Kind regards,
Tim Comeau
Dealer Principal
