Mazda Voted Best Value And Best Brand Across The BoardFeb 21th , 2018
Here, at Fredericton Mazda, we like to think that we’re pretty humble. We like to curl, we like to laugh, and we love our Fredericton Mazda family. With that being said, we can’t help but brag about our vehicle lineup. We boast the most value, and the best vehicles you can buy for your hard-earned cash. Here’s why we’re so incredibly proud of our Mazda lineup.
Mazda Tops the AJAC Awards
Mazda’s technology topped the awards in 2017 (winning for G-Vectoring control) with pride. For the 2018 model year, Mazda has won another three AJAC (Automobile Journalists Association of Canada) awards:
- 2018 Mazda 3 & Mazda 3 Sport: Best Small Car in Canada for 2018
- 2018 Mazda CX-5: Best Small Utility Vehicle in Canada for 2018
- 2018 Mazda CX-9: Best Large Utility Vehicle in Canada for 2018
These awards are given by the AJAC as a group of journalists that experience all of the vehicles that the automotive world has to offer. The purpose of these awards and reviews by AJAC journalists is to educate vehicle shoppers and provide honest, transparent, and unbiased reviews to help during the purchase process.
“The awards are a testament to the dedication and craftsmanship that go into every vehicle we make.”
What Went Above and Beyond?
Mazda’s incredible safety and technology suites are second-to-none. Features like G-Vectoring control, Skyactiv technology, iActiv AWD, iEloop braking, and i-Activsense safety technology make our vehicles stand alone — at the top of the podium just like the Olympic Canadian snowboarders that we sponsor.
Because of our superior craftsmanship and unlimited mileage warranty, Mazda helps you save on maintenance and repairs. Want to learn more about our unlimited mileage warranty? It’s standard on all new vehicles and you can find more information about how it works here. Better yet, the warranty is transferable and increases your resale value, should you choose to upgrade to a new Mazda vehicle.
Lower Cost of Ownership = Easiest on Your Pocket
Despite being very wallet-friendly, we know that Mazda’s aren’t the cheapest vehicles out there. We’re okay with it. Why? Because our vehicles have been voted the lowest cost of ownership by the trusted Kelley Blue Book (KBB) time and time again. Owning a Mazda will cost you less money overall, not just at the time of purchase. Mazdas aren’t the cheapest, but they are the best.
What does this all mean? The KBB awards a 5-year Cost to Own Award to the brand with the lowest cost of ownership over the course of five years. This means that you will encounter fewer out-of-pocket expenses when buying and owning a Mazda. The award looks at overall value/expenses such as maintenance/repairs, insurance, fees, financing, and resale value.
2018 Car Guide Best Buys
Oops, we did it again. Four of our 2018 models have earned the highest accolades from the 2018 Car Guide:
- 2018 Mazda 3: Best buy in the compact cars category
- 2018 Mazda CX-3: Best buy in the sub-compact SUVs category
- 2018 Mazda CX-5: Best buy in the compact SUVs under $40,000 category
- 2018 Mazda MX-5: Best buy in the convertibles and roadsters under $50,000 category
The Mazda 3 shines for it’s driving capabilities with smooth handling and precision, as well as excellent fuel economy and easy-to-use infotainment system. The CX-3’s sporty ride and handling impressed, as well as the vehicle’s great traction for our snowy New Brunswick winters. The CX-5 is one of our favourite vehicles (our owners even drive one) and the Car Guide was in the same boat. Its stability control, stylish detailing, speed, and light build earned it winning remarks. Last but not least, the MX-5: it’s a true sports car that left impressions for its lightweight body, power, and precise handling.
With all of these awards from different experts, it’s hard to argue; a Mazda is your best bet. Find your best vehicle yet at Fredericton Mazda during 2018, the year of Mazda’s 50th Canadian anniversary.
